Chatham-Nauset Lions are terrific supporters of Dream Day. For years, they have donated time maintaining their family cabin, given generously, and hosting lovely dinners for Dream Day families. Camp staff hiring is now open as well. We are seeking counselor applicants, as well as lifeguard and nurse/EMT applicants. Camp staff application can be found here. Email with any questions!

We are excited to share that Jay Foran – of EBS Foran Insurance & Advisory Services – has generously donated $5000 to Dream Day – in support of Dream Day family programming – including our upcoming holiday weekend. Employees will be ‘adopting’ Dream Day families and helping at our family party as well.
The Foran family has been a loyal friend to Dream Day, and we are truly grateful for their commitment and support.

We are excited to announce that this year’s annual Holiday Weekend will again be held at the Clarion Hotel [formerly All Seasons Motel] in South Yarmouth – from December 9th to the 11th

The goal of Dream Day’s Holiday Weekend is like all Dream Day events: fun and respite for the special families we serve. A light schedule of programming is offered, including a special holiday party on Saturday from 12 to 3pm. Dream Day activities are family-focused and we remind families that supervision is essential for safety and all-in-all family enjoyment.

Nun Run 5K Run/Walk 2011

Kids helping kids!

Does it get any better than a school full of elementary age children raising money to send other kids to camp? We think not! YET AGAIN, students from Station Avenue Elementary School, South Yarmouth, led my their amazing Phys Ed teacher Patti Watson, participated in a month-long academic and physical triathlon, while fundraising for Dream Day. This year they raised over $3000! $3000!!!!

Their burst of excitement and pride was heard overwhelmingly in cheers and applause at their all-school meeting Wednesday. They should be proud — we are proud of them! Thank you SAE!

Here’s what is happening out at camp:

We are in full swing clean up mode! MANY groups have dedicated service days in the last month. Lower Cape Kiwanis, Harwich-Dennis Rotary, Cape Cod Hospitality Marketing Association, TWO groups from NStar, and more to come! We are grateful!
Camp staff is getting ready to move out here by the end of the month! We can’t wait to see familiar faces, and plan out an awesome 2011 program.
There are still a couple slots left for camp — as well as an active waiting list. Don’t delay! Send us your family camper application today!
