Happy November to Dream Day friends and families alike! This is a busy time for us as our committed volunteers shut down the Nan-Ke-Rafe camp facility.
Holiday Weekend is just around the corner! We have just a few slots left for eligible families. Please complete the application and send it our way right away! Holiday Weekend, like all Dream Day family events, is a break and respite for the special families we serve and the focus is on FUN. We are so grateful to all who make it happen – volunteers and donors alike. It would not happen without their generosity — particularly the Clarion Inn of Cape Cod. Owner George Abbott donates a block of rooms for ALL of our families – and has done so for over a decade. We are grateful.
Programming might be quiet in the off-season but our fund raising efforts are as busy as ever! The Spectacle of Trees is becoming a great Cape tradition and we are so happy to be a part of it! Spanning two weekends, various local organizations decorate a themed tree LOADED with incredible gifts and prizes. The 2010 Spectacle of Trees is scheduled for the weekends of December 3rd and 10th. Tickets are sold and the drawn winner goes home with the decorated tree — and all of the LOOT! Just in time for giving

This just in! The winner of the Dream Day on Cape Cod Spectacle of Trees tree will also win TWO of the Centerville Pie Company’s (http://centervillepies.com/) Chicken Pies! The Centerville Pie Company gained national recognition last year, when they delivered some of their mouth-watering pies to the hotel Oprah was staying at for Eunice Kennedy Shirver’s funeral. Fast forward to September 2010, and Oprah featured the owners of the Centerville Pie Company on her “Ultimate Wildest Dreams” show, where she announced that the Centerville Pie Company’s Chicken Pies would now be available through world-famous mail order gourmet food and fruit gifts purveyor, Harry and David http://www.harryanddavid.com)! Our thanks to the great folks at the Centerville Pie Company for this generous donation!
